Bluegrass Chapter Meeting

Meeting Title: April 2017 Chapter Meeting
Meeting Details:

Recent building system design practices have all but abandoned air-cooled chillers as a viable option due to the marginal efficiency capability of equipment that has been available. However new advances in air-cooled chiller technology have consulting engineers revisiting the air-cooled system design even when equipment efficiency is at the top of the owner’s desires. This presentation will briefly review the past technology before diving into the details of the latest new technology and product offerings that are available today. This presentation will then explore key considerations for decision makers when evaluating an air-cooled vs. water-cooled chiller system including an example case study in total cost of ownership.
