Mark Platt is a Partner of Multistack LLC and a principal equity partner.  He has primary responsibility for the strategic long-term direction of the company and is also directly involved in the company’s emerging technology, research, and development.  Previously, Mark was the President and CEO having P&L responsibility with primary areas of emphasis in Sales and Marketing, Product Engineering and Field Service.  Before being appointed President and CEO, he served as Multistack’s General Manager, Vice President of Sales and Marketing as well as National Sales and Marketing Manager.  He has been employed by Multistack since 1995.

Prior to Multistack, Mark managed the commercial sales division of the York International Light Commercial Products Distributor in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 1994 until 1995.  From 1988 until 1994, he served as a Field Sales Engineer with Fleming Hanson Sales, a full-line Manufacture’s Representative of Commercial HVAC Equipment in Chicago, Illinois.  He marketed and sold twenty-six HVAC product lines including McQuay International and Multistack.  Before that, he served the Trane Company as a Marketing Engineer at their world headquarters in
La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Mark volunteers his time for several non-profit organizations at both the committee and board level.  He is active in his local church.  Mark is member of the Board of Trustees of Gundersen Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, WI, which is one of the top 100 hospitals in the America.  He is also active within the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a member of their Leadership Council as well as being the Title Sponsor of two annual Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Golf Tournaments – one of which he established and chairs.  This event is has been the top CFF fundraiser in the State of Wisconsin since 2011.

Mark received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee.  He was also a Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force with 17 years of service and held the rank of Captain in the United States Air Force Reserve. 

In 2009, Mark received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Upper Midwest Region in the category of Industrial Manufacturing.  Since that time he has acted as a Regional Judge for the program.
