 The seldom used and little known IAQ Procedure from ASHRAE's Standard 62.1 allows engineers and building owners to reduce the amount of required outside air by evaluating the contaminant levels before and after air purification.  The procedure meets the Ventilation Exception of the International Mechanical Code (IMC).  It is presented in a simplified and straightforward manner.

Dan Rellihan, Director of Sales and Marketing Services, Plasma Air International

  • Dan Rellihan is the Director of Sales & Marketing Services for Plasma Air International in Stamford, CT.   A graduate of the University of Kansas where he studied Mechanical Engineering and received his Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, he joined the Plasma Air team in August 2016.  Prior to Plasma Air, his 31-year HVAC background includes Channel Regional Vice-President at Johnson Controls from 2015 to 2016 and Director of Sales and Marketing for Ruskin Company where he worked for 20 years.  Rellihan began his HVAC career as a Development Engineer, Inside Sales Engineer and Regional Sales Manager at Tempmaster Corporation in Kansas City from 1986 to 1988.  In 1988, he went to work for the Trane Company in Scranton, Pennsylvania as a Marketing Engineer. In 1992, he relocated to Trane’s Waco, Texas facility where he served as Marketing Manager through December 1993.
